Francis Nataf

Francis Nataf is an American-Israeli Bible scholar and educator. He is the author of the Redeeming Relevance series on the bible, as well as many articles published across a wide variety of Israeli and Jewish publications including Haaretz, Arutz Sheva, The Jerusalem Post, Jewish Action, and many others. He has lectured at conferences and seminars internationally, and held teaching and leadership posts at schools and institutions in both Israel and the United States. Rabbi Nataf is the Associate Editor of the Jewish Bible Quarterly. Education Rabbi Nataf received his rabbinic ordination from Yeshiva University in 1989. He received his Master’s in Jewish History from Yeshiva University, as well as a degree in International Affairs from Lewis and Clark College. Career Rabbi Nataf has served as the director of Yeshiva University’s outreach program and taught in Jewish schools in Indianapolis, New York, and Israel. He was the Torah Studies Director at the Pre-Collegiate Learning Center of New Jersey, the Principal of Talmud Torah Orot Hapisgah, and the Educational Director of the David Cardozo Academy in Jerusalem for many years. He has written extensively concerning Jewish Education, Bible, and Jewish Thought.
