Fragrance Direct is an online retailer based in Macclesfield, Cheshire. Founded in 1999, Fragrance Direct sells a vast range of products from perfume and aftershave to makeup and suntan lotion.
Fragrance Direct stock a variety of brands including Gucci, Paco Rabanne, Dolce and Gabbana, L’Oreal, MAC, Estee Lauder and Piz Buin.
History
Fragrance Direct began with a husband and wife team who worked out of their garage and grew from its small beginnings into one of Britain’s largest online fragrance and cosmetic retailers.
Located in Macclesfield, Cheshire, the company has a large distribution centre in the town and has a retail store in Chestergate.
The company now employs over 100 people and ships worldwide.
In 2015, Fragrance Direct appointed Label PR to oversee its UK press and Digital.
Social Media World Cup
In 2014, The Conversation announced that Fragrance Direct was one of the big winners of the Social Media World Cup - noted for their tweet in the run-up to the Rio World Cup, Fragrance Direct achieved the 20th most popular re-tweet.
