Company History
Foreign Currency Direct was established in 2000 by Peter S. Ellis and in 2004 Foreign Currency Direct gained PLC status. The head office is in Old Amersham Buckinghamshire.
In 2007 Foreign Currency Direct launched an online property portal propertyline.co.uk.
Foreign Currency Direct was finalist in the National Business Awards for customer services.
In 2008 Foreign Currency Direct were listed at number 10 in the Best Companies to work for.
As of June 2012 Foreign Currency Direct were listed as the 8th largest of the Foreign exchange companies in the UK by profit.
Since 2010 Foreign Currency Direct have sponsored the Classic Rock Awards including in 2012 sponsoring the VIP award which was awarded to Tony Smith manager of Genesis.

Foreign Currency Direct is authorised by the to provide payment services (FRN 538392). Foreign Currency Direct are also registered as a Money Service Business with HMRC (MSB number 12146539).
