Food Products Procurement and Supply OJSC

The “Food Products’ Procurement and Supply” Open Joint Stock Company (OJSC) is a public entity and founded on April 2016 by the relevant decree of the President of Azerbaijan. The Chairman and Deputy Chairmen of the OJSC are appointed by the President of the Republic. The purpose of foundation is to stimulate agricultural production and (or) processing to ensure the development of agricultural producers, to improve the quality of food products, to secure the efficient use of public funds, to improve the social welfare of the population engaged in farming, and to organize the purchase of food products with state order in a centralized manner.
Initially, the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be the owner of all the shares. However, 49 percent of the shares will be offered to investors on the stock exchange.
The company is operated by the Head Office with central Warehouse and Logistics center. It includes eight departments, twelve Regional Offices, twelve regional Warehouses, and twelve District Support Units. The daily loading/unloading capacities of the Company facilities are 470 metric ton. The company owns 49 Cargo Trucks.
The Chairman of the company is Mr. Ablulfat Godjayev.
