Velvet Air is an air charter company in India based at Delhi. It commenced operations from 30th Oct 2012 from its Gurgaon based head office as Air Charter Services. It also started a non-scheduled airline operation. History Velvet Air is headed by its Chairman and Managing Director Mr. U. K. Bose who has managed and directed a business of the Indian private aviation industry as its longest running CEO for 13 years at Sahara Airlines. He gave advisory support to many start up regional and non-scheduled airlines. In 2012 he developed and operated an air operation called Intra State Airline, launched in September 2011 and run till October 2012 with the support of the Government of Madhya Pradesh. |
