Flocations is a privately held company headquartered in Singapore, founded in 2011. As of December 2012, the company has raised over S$700,000 (US$600,000) from JFDI.asia, TNF Ventures and Singtel Innov8. Flocations is a travel website helping trip planning in Southeast Asia. Travel packages from local agencies are aggregated to allow travellers to find these online and compare their offers. Origins and History The team met during a Startup Weekend in Singapore, in April 2011. While on Channel NewsAsia tv program Angel's Gate, Tudor Coman and Florian Cornu turned down a US$250,000 investment offer. Soon after, the company joined a startup incubator: Global Accelerator Network's JFDI.asia. Following the acceleration period, the company raised S$700,000 (US$600k) in December 2012 from TNF Ventures and Singtel Innov8. Company Management The company has 4 co-founders: Tudor Coman from Canada, Florian Cornu from France, Venkatraman Dhamodaran from India and Shaw Chian from Singapore.
