Fleshrot is a death metal band from London, England. Formed in 2003, Fleshrot have had several line up changes, which has seen their sound move towards a more mature and technical approach to death metal. Early releases by the band, such as Gore-a-Holic and Decomposition of Humanity, distributed by Vacant Sea Records, combined with a formidable live presence have attracted the attention of several independent record labels, most notably Deepsend Records. Fleshrot's lyrical themes tend to cover a broad range of subjects, such as horror, gore, perversion, anti-human sentiment, violence and aggression. In January 2009, the band entered Philia Studios to begin recording their Deepsend Records debut. Entitled Traumatic Reconfiguration, it is a taste of the future for Fleshrot and is out now.
