The Pinstripes

The Pinstripes are a seven-piece traditional ska band from Cincinnati, Ohio. They play a combination of ska, reggae, rocksteady, soul, and punk.
They have been influenced by bands such as The Skatalites, The Slackers, John Brown's Body, and other ska and reggae acts. The Pinstripes have shared the stage with The Toasters, Catch 22, Mustard Plug, Westbound Train, The Know How, Big D and the Kids Table and The Aggrolites.
The band was formed in October 2003, and starting in 2004, they released a series of short EPs. They released a split EP with fellow Cincinnati ska-rockers The Prairie Dog Gangsters, and an acoustic EP in December 2005. In 2006, the band independently recorded and released its first full-length album, Higher Ground.
