FiveFWD is a web site created by the UK terrestial television station Five. It is a portal website which uses clip-based content from The Gadget Show and Fifth Gear, in addition to video content created especially for the website. The site launched on the 2nd of October 2008 to coincide with the 10th series of The Gadget Show, followed by an extensive TV advertising campaign on Five, Five US and Fiver, which was created by House of Curves. FiveFWD's launch coincided the re-branding of Five, and was one of the first websites to use the new logo. FiveFWD is pronounced 'Five Forward'. It was designed by Made by Many and developed by New Bamboo using Ruby on Rails. The content is provided by North One Television and Republic Publishing. |
