FITcon is the Florida Institute of Technology's anime convention. Initially a small event held by the Florida Institute of Technology Society for Science Fiction and Fantasy (FITSSFF) in 2001, FITcon has been run by the Florida Tech Anime Club since its creation. FITcon returned from a four year hiatus in 2008, caused by administrative issues.
