Fist of Dishonor (also known as FOD) is a ninja rock band based in Portland, Oregon. Career Fist of Dishonor is a ninja rock band that combats enemies during their live shows using their own form of kung fu. Fist of Dishnor was formed in 2006 in Portland, Oregon by vocalist Missy Jitsu, keyboardist Robo D, bassist Kabuki Bottom, and drummer Zodiac Snow Wolf. In a typical show, Missy Jitsu will fight off nefarious attackers while the band plays. The stage show includes bullet-time style kung fu, assorted throws, and inverted foot-drawn archery. The antagonists are drawn from Portland Organic Wrestling. Only two of the band members, Missy Jitsu and Shigeru Nakano, knew how to play instruments prior to the formation of Fist of Dishonor. The band started by first choosing people they wanted to play with, and only later taught them how to play. Missy Jitsu is an active part of Portland-based Rock and Roll Camp For Girls, where she teaches vocals to girl rockers. At the October 29th show at Ash Street Salon, Missy Jitsu announced that Fist of Dishonor were working on an upcoming album.
