Fish and Boat is a recreational newspaper for fishing and boating based in North Queensland, Australia. The paper is published monthly and most of the stories are contributed by readers themselves. The paper has been running for 25 years. It is available in over fifty stores across Queensland with many more stocking it. To find a copy, any newsagent, fishing store or supermarket stocks the widely known and well regarded fishing publication.
The current editor of the paper is Anthony Gomes, after Harold Bligh retired and the paper has now had three ownerships.
Fish and Boat is regarded as one of the most successful fishing magazines available in Australia, due to the ability of readers to submit their own stories. The readers know what they want, and therefore they get that, just on a much wider scale due to the many articles printed. The paper is typically around 60 pages long, and is now printed in full colour.
The publication was available for sale online at pressdisplay, but since has been removed.
