Fir Tex is a technological enabled fabric, designed by Fir-Tex Ltd. It is claimed to have numerous health benefits, including improving microcirculation,balance and mobility. However no independent evidence has been produced to substantiate any of the claims made. How it works Fir-Tex works similar to a mirror, it captures thermal radiation (which originate from the body). It then reacts and sends energy back into the body . Applications The fabric is used in the 'FIR -VEST', which is the actual product sold by the company. The vest is recommended by the manufacturer to be used by athletes or sportspersons, patients who suffer from imbalance,Chronic pain, and to help with wound healing. The vests are being used by the Red Bull Racing Team , becoming an official 'Innovation Partner' as well.. It has also been suggested that it could be used with animals. See Also
