Figurenude

A neologism for an object of two dimensional art primarily of a nude human figure. A "figurenude" is not intentionally erotic and does not involve the subject interacting with the viewer, except possibly a casual look. The face is often not shown. ("Figurenude" was a term first used by Curtis Neeley for photographs, but can be anything two-dimensional.)

This neologism is a sub-class of the nude art genre that attempts to completely separate art from erotica. Many "art nudes" are "figurenudes" but no "art erotica" is a "figurenude".
