FBL09

FBL09 is a floorball video game currently in development by Prodigium Game Studios. The game will be released in December 2010.
Development
The development of FBL09 started in November 2007. Prodigium Game Studios uses motion capture to record the moves and put them into the game. They got the idea to make FBL09 10 years ago when they were playing 3rd division in Valkeakoski's Haka.

2008
*January 18: Prodigium Game Studios opens the official website and forums for the upcoming FBL09 floorball game.
*January 24: Prodigium Game Studios is interviewed at Salimania.
*January 28: A video posted on youtube shows shooting training with a player. They get better and better.
*February 24: A status update and a new video on youtube shows basic animations and cloth simulation in goal net.
*March 25: A new status update and new screenshots appear on the official FBL09 website.
*April 28: Finnish Salibandyliiga starts to support Prodigium Game Studios in the FBL09 development process.
*May 19: A new status update and new screenshots appear on the official FBL09 website.
*June 29: A new status update and new screenshots appear on the official FBL09 website. It is already possible to play one period completely.
*September 1: A new status update and new screenshots appear on the official FBL09 website.
*October 18: A new status update appears. Prodigium Game Studios decides to stop publishing status updates monthly. They also announce that the demo will most likely not be released in 2008.
2009
*January 15: It is announced hat also the Slovenian Floorball Association (SFA) has promised to support Prodigium Game Studios in FBL09 development.
*July 5: A new status update appears on the official FBL09 website and two motion capture samples are posted on youtube. One shows warming up and the other one shows faceoff
*November 14: A preview of a new graphics update is posted on the official FBL09 webiste. It is some screenshots showing the current graphics in the game.
*December 24: A roadmap for year 2010 is announced. The target release date for the first demo of the game is 31 january 2010. It is a training session demo. The gameplay demo will be released in June/July 2010 and the final version of the game will be released in December 2010.
