Farhan Devji

Farhan Devji (born February 3, 1990 in Nanaimo, British Columbia) is a journalist, author, and editor based in Vancouver. He resides in Port Moody, British Columbia; however, he is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Journalism program at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario.
Farhan's writings focus primarily on hockey, but he also had numerous articles posted with Basketball BC. Farhan - an accredited CHL writer - currently writes for the official website of the Vancouver Canucks and for The Charlatan, Carleton University's student newspaper. Additionally, he is the editor-in-chief of a Vancouver Canucks fan website, Canucks Fanz, a columnist at Inside Hockey, a contributor with The Press Box and an author for Cacoethes Publishing House. His first title, The Hockey Farmer, was published in 2008. Farhan also covered the 2008 Stanley Cup Finals for Orato.
Over the past years, Farhan has dealt with Steven Stamkos, Kyle Turris, Milan Lucic, Luke Schenn, Jeff Tambellini, Luca Sbisa, Fabian Brunnstrom, Cory Schneider, Michael Grabner, Cody Hodgson, Yann Sauve, and several others.
The Hockey Farmer
Farhan's hockey based novel, The Hockey Farmer, is about the story of Logan Watt growing up in Cochrane, Alberta trying to balance his life on the farm, with his social life, and his aspirations to play in the National Hockey League. The story also shifts to Vancouver, British Columbia and contains numerous Vancouver Canucks references.
