Fairfield Elementary School was located at 1501 Barton Street East, Hamilton (Ontario) until its demolition in 2005. Under the capital plan, the former elementary school closed in 2004 and became a surplus property that was subsequently purchased by the to become park space within a crowded inner-city ward.
During its use, the elementary school functioned for students in kindergarden to grade 5, with students leaving to attend middle school at W.H. Ballard Elementary following their fifth year. Feeder high schools for Fairfield included Glendale Secondary School, , and Scott Park Secondary School.
