It is focused on selling gourmet and specialty coffees and teas over the Internet to the retail, corporate gift and wholesale markets. CoffeeAM ensures that freshly roasted coffees are shipped in small batches to guarantee the best quality to the consumers. It is known for offering the highest quality of coffees and related products including gourmet teas, gourmet candies, and accessories that make life more gratifying.

CoffeeAM follows the standards established by National Organic Program. It is a certified Organic Coffee Handler and Processor from the Georgia Crop Improvement Association Organic Certification Program (GCIAOCP).

History
CoffeeAM was originated in August 1993 and launched its online retail store in March 1999. Since the present owners purchased the business, in December 1998, coffeeAM.com has focused on expanding its product offerings, building brand name through advertising and promotional campaigns, pursuing online shopping initiatives, recruiting personnel, developing business-to-business services and exploring strategic electronic commerce opportunities. In December 1999, CoffeeAM.com launched a wholesale program enabling consumers to purchase coffee and tea in bulk at wholesale prices. Currently its retail and wholesale customers pay for orders by credit card while they pay their suppliers on trade terms.

The company roasts over 45 high-quality Arabica coffees and offer over 150 flavored coffees, organic coffees, select estate coffees, gourmet teas and gift baskets, as well as commercial and home coffee equipment. CoffeeAM gained over 150,000 faithful customers who have enjoyed their coffees and teas by purchasing directly from Canton, Georgia.

TransFair USA (Fair-Trade)
The "Fair Trade Certified" label is a third-party certification administered in the U.S. by TransFair USA, a member of Fairtrade Labelling Organizations International (FLO), and it means that coffee beans were purchased directly from growers or their cooperatives at a price higher than the commodity market rate. TransFair USA is the third-party certifier of Fair Trade products in the U.S. TransFair’s rigorous audit system. They verify industry compliance with fair trade criteria and track products from farm to finished product. They also allow U.S. companies to display the Fair-Trade Certified label on products.

Rainforest Alliance
They are mainly focused on how farms are managed rather than how beans are traded, covering all aspects of production including environmental protection, worker rights and welfare and the interests of local communities. They provide incentives to the farmers so that they meet the CoffeeAM’s standards and also encourage companies to support the farms making improvements toward sustainability. Sustainable agriculture program’s mission is to integrate productive agriculture, biodiversity conservation and human development.
