It is often attributed to the economic potential of a group or members of a society utilizing social media to influence market segmentation and or to attract foreign direct investment in market entry worldwide. Faceconomics is the multiplier effect consists of various demographics of users engaging the world community to expand on business,cultural,social,political,and in an international platform focusing on the globalization of markets. Faceconomics was conceived in 2006 and developed into a book project in 2010 by Aldous Mina.
