Euroleague Basketball Manager was the Euroleague's official basketball game. It's first and last version in 2008 featured on the cover , , and Theo Papaloukas. The game was an attempt by the Euroleague Basketball Company to promote its brand through a management simulation game, in which the player had the option to select his team, manage it and coach it throughout a whole season. The game included offensive and defensive tactics, as well as player development options. Even though a second edition of Euroleague basketaball manager was not planned, 2K Sports and the EuroLeague signed an exclusive multi-year deal on July 2, 2013 to include Euroleague teams in the NBA 2K game series, thus marking the first time EuroLeague teams appeared in a basketball simulation video game. |
