The Escondido Orthodox Presbyterian Church, a member congregation of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, is located in Escondido, California. The congregation meets in the Chapel of the Westminster Seminary California. The congregation was founded in 2002, Zake Keele began serving the congregation as evangelist in 2004, and in 2006 the Church was recognized as a permanent congregation ans called Keele as pastor. The Pastor is Zake Keele, a graduate of Westminster Seminary California. Keele is co-author of the 2017 book Sacred Bond: Covenant Theology Explored. His father is an elder of the church. Earnest's parents issued a statement expressing their horror that "our son was attracted to such darkness" and describing his actions as "a terrifying mystery." Pastor Keele condemned the shooting as an "act of evil." |
