ERNIEandJESSE is a podcast created by talk show host ERNIE D MENDOZA and radio personality JESSE F DANIELS. The podcast was created in 2009 and features current topics, nostalgic references, and guests.
History
Season 1
The podcast was created in 2009 after Ernie asked Jesse when they could do a podcast together. Jesse told Ernie to come record Tuesday night at midnight and then they aired the first episode on September 24, 2009. Consequent episodes were released Wednesdays for all of Season 1. The first season of podcasts were only available on their Blogspot page via Soundcloud.
Season 2
Season 2 began with the launch of their brand new website created by Gerardo Ritchey and Jesse F Daniels. During Season 2, the guys brought in female co-host Pauline Chris. This was the first time the episodes appeared on iTunes. The episodes continued to be released on Wednesdays as much as possible. Notable guests this season include: Radio/TV personality, Chuey Martinez; Season 2 Reality TV Star, Marcy Guevara; Asian-American female rock band, Nylon_Pink
Season 3
In season 3 female co-host LV (Laura V.) was introduced. She also set up and ran the new social media accounts for the podcast such as Twitter & Instagram.
Season 4
Season 4 of the podcast brought multiple changes in recording and air times. Due to the scheduling of the on-air studio which the podcast was recorded, recording days changed to weekends. Often recording on Sunday evenings in the earlier half of the season, then switching to Saturday evenings.
Season 5
During season 5, a live stream was begun on Ustream
