Erik haahr

Erik Haahr was born in 1960 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He was the first in his family to gain a masters degree, when he completed his M.Sc.E.
Erik's career has been formed like many other engineers starting as a specialist and gradually turning into managerial responsibility and leadership positions. Erik is a real networker and as such Open, Random and Supportive (as opposed to the more traditional managerial Closed, Selective and Controlling). Erik has been sharing his knowledge and experience on a lot of international conferences (eg. )
Erik was member of the board of the Danish Oracle User Group from 1996 to 2010 and was elected as auditor in 2011.
Erik was elected President of the Copenhagen Toastmasters Club in February 2011

It took a long time before Erik found his favorite sparetime activity: Running. He started out as a scout - and he still is a scout after more than 40 years - but not very active anymore. Volleyball became his first real sport. But from 1981 running gradually took over and is now his favorite. Erik has completed 10 marathons in Berlin, Copenhagen, New York and Odense.
