Eric Michael Tobias (born July 23, 1976) is an American-born entrepreneur. Mr. Tobias is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of iGoDigital, a software company in the web personalization space. iGoDigital provides web-based product and content recommendation software as a service. They provide software as a service (SaaS). The company was recognized in 2008 and 2011 by Inc Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in America. In 2012, iGoDigital was acquired by ExactTarget for $14.7 million in cash and $6.3 million in stock Career In 1999, Mr. Tobias Co-Founded Batteries.com, a leading online retailer of specialty batteries. In 2000, Mr. Tobias Co-Founded Technuity, a leading manufacturer of power products and a licensee of Energizer. In 2007, Batteries.com and Technuity were sold to Audiovox for $20.5 million dollars. Family Mr. Tobias is the nephew of Randall L. Tobias, a noted Republican and former chief executive officer of Eli Lilly and Company who was appointed as the first United States Director of Foreign Assistance, and served concurrently as the Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), with the rank of Ambassador. Awards Mr. Tobias was awarded the Indianapolis Business Journal's Forty Under 40 award in 2009.
