Envox Worldwide is a global provider of IP-based voice solutions. The company offers turnkey voice self-service, contact center, and unified communications solutions for enterprises and service providers as well as standards-based tools and platforms for developers and systems integrators.

Envox turnkey solutions include:

Inbound voice self-service – solutions that automate the handling of customer calls, using both/either Speech and DTMF input from callers.

Outbound solutions – including auto-dialer solutions and alert/notification solutions for disaster recovery or for building customer relationships.

Contact center solutions – including screen pop and intelligent call routing solutions

Envox OnDemand – a hosted network providing customized contact center services


Envox self-service solutions have been deployed in a number of industries, including financial services, healthcare, retail, utilities, and telecommunications.


Tools and Platforms

Envox Communications Development Platform – an open, standards-based platform for developing and deploying voice solutions.

Envox VoiceXML Studio – a graphical development environment for creating VoiceXML-based voice solutions.

Envox CT ADE – an IVR development tool providing utilities for controlling Dialogic hardware and software interfaces and speech products, such as speech recognition, text-to-speech, and speaker verification.

Envox CT Connect – standards-based Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) software that provides intelligent routing, screen pops, and monitoring functions for call center solutions.

Envox PhoneLink – a CTI application that provides screen pop, click to call, and conferencing capability for users of the Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.


History

The Envox Communications Development Platform (CDP) was originally launched in 1997.

In 2002, Envox Worldwide acquired Show N Tel software from Sonexis, Inc. Show N Tel is discontinued as a product line, but continues to be actively supported.

In 2005, Envox Worldwide acquired CT Connect (also known as Call Processing Software) and CT ADE products from Intel Corporation.
