Environmental Diagnostics Laboratory (EDLab), a Division of Pure Air Control Services, Inc., was established on the 15th of July, 1994 as an environmental diagnostics laboratory. Initially this laboratory started out serving Pure Air Control Services for all of it's indoor environmental quality assessment testing needs, but soon after that EDLab started serving a host of other clients (residential to commercial). EDLab's reputation in the industry is second to none due to it's unmatched excellence in their quality of work.
EDLab's specialization is in the field of environmental microbiology, indoor air quality, aerobiology and allergen screen for environmental specimens. Highlights of Pure Air Control Services and its award-winning laboratory (EDLab) include:

· EDLab has analyzed over 100,000 environmental samples from various location/test sites throughout the United States and abroad since 1994
· EDLab has maintained a high proficiency grading for all test rounds since June 1997's Round 2 of EMPAT program to date
· Frost & Sullivan recipient of the 2006 Product Differentiation Innovation Award: Solutions for Improving Indoor Air Quality
· Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a) Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)
· General Services Administration (GSA) contract #GS-10F-0488R
· EDLab was the first state of Florida environmental laboratory to become accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) as EMLAP #102794 (Environmental Microbiology Laboratory Accreditation Program) laboratory for analyzing bacteria and/or fungi in environmental test materials
· EDLab presented "10 Year Study - Air Quality Guidelines Established for Microbial Assessment of Residential and Commercial Buildings" at the AIHA conference in Anaheim, CA in 2005
· EDLab is also participating in the "Fungal Direct Examination" proficiency testing program since its inception in year 2003 and maintains proficiency grading
· EDLab has over 12 years of experience in analyzing environmental samples including air, bulk, dust, surface, swab, water, etc. samples
· EDLab maintains detailed protocols for collection and transportation of environmental materials
· EDLab verifies all the submitted samples for authenticity and its validity as per the protocol before samples are accepted
· All the accepted samples are analyzed based on EDLab Standard of Procedures (SOP) and Protocol for the respective type of assays
· Dr. Rajiv R. Sahay, CIAQP, FIAS world renowned in the indoor industry profession with many years of industry experience. Dr. Sahay supervises the overall operation of the laboratory. All the analysts are well-trained, qualified with excellent skill in analyzing the specimens
· EDLab has both internal and external quality control/assurance program for maintaining the accuracy, authenticity and validity of each and every test result performed by the laboratory
