Elvis Gomes is a senior civil servant of the Goa Civil Service known for his uprighteness and fearlessness while carrying out his duties in the face of political opposition. Early Life He was born to Costancio Gomes and Patrocinia Gomes on 1 January 1963 . Elvis graduated from Chowgule college of arts and science before joining the Goa civil service . He currently serves as the additional secretary (housing) and the Executive Director of the Sports Authority of Goa,at the Government of Goa.. He has also been appointed special officer of the 3rd edition of the Lusofonia Games organised by the ACOLOP that will be held in Goa from 2 to 10,November 2013.
