Elliott Moglica

born 8 February 1971), is a Canadian poet, novelist, short story writer and biographer.
Moglica's work The Proton Man: Justin Trudeau is a four-canto multi-style poem about Canada and Justin Trudeau (published in 2014). In September 2015 Moglica published the second volume titled The Protonic Guardian: Justin Trudeau. This tells the second story of Trudeau.
His best-known works in Albanian are the novel Fundi tragjik i një dashurie ("The Tragic End of a Love"), and the biography Burri i madh Hasan Moglica (1854-1915) ("The Great Man Hasan Moglica").
Background
Moglica is a Canadian citizen of Albanian descent. He was born in Moglicë, Elbasan and is a great grandson of The Moglica's House of Illyrians tribe. He lives in Toronto, Ontario.
Education
A son of the fourth generation teacher, Elliott Moglica never had a chance to escape the same destiny. Moglica has 24 years of schooling in English, French, Turkish and Albanian languages. — recognized from Canada as four years bachelor's degree.
He studied linguistics and received the Turkish Language Certificate from 'Kara Kuvvetleri Lisan Okulu' (Army Forces Linguistic School), in Istanbul, Turkey. In 1993-94 he continued specialized studies in the military field and received a Military Diploma from 'Topçu ve Füze Okulu' (The Academy of Artillery and Rockets), in Polatlı, Ankara, Turkey.
In 2001 Moglica received a Military Diploma at The Academy of Defense/College of Direction, in Tirana, Albania (by concluding The Essential Course of the Officer of Headquarters). Also, he finished his action research in the thesis: "Motivation a Potential Part of the Military Power."
In 2006, Moglica graduated from Niagara College in Law and Security - Customs (Specialized in Customs & Immigration). He finished studies with the Niagara Scholar Award and the President’s Honour, in Welland/ Ontario, Canada.
He returned to school, again, but this time as a graduate student in the field of education. And, in 2006, he was admitted to study in Teaching English as a Second Language Postgraduate Program (TESL) at Niagara College. Thus, in 2007, he graduated with honours.
In addition, Elliott Moglica graduated in Creative Writing from the University of Cambridge, in Cambridgeshire, in the United Kingdom.
Publications
Whilst Elliott Moglica is best known for his work as a poet, he has also published novels, biography, short stories, and children's books.
Poetry
In 2001 he published, Gjithë bota në Kosovë ("All the World in Kosovo"). published by Lumo Skendo, in Tirana, Albania.
In 2006, he published the poem "I Want" in both hard and audio copies, which is about 9/11. And, he was the recipient of the Medal The United States of America Poetry Ambassador, in 2008, by the International Library of Poetry. Also, in 2006, he became published multi-author poetry anthology — Twilight Musings, International Library of Poetry, in the USA.
On February 8, 2011, he published in Albanian the poetry book, Brenga e mërgimit — "The Cross of Emigration" — written in 2002-07 years, edited by Sakip Cami, and published by Geer.
In November 2011, Moglica published in English a work titled, Justice or Jungle: Selected Poetry in XLIV Chambers. It's accompanied by twenty-eight original drawings by the author.
Poet Moglica is chiefly known in the English-speaking world for his 2014 and 2015 books The Proton Man: Justin Trudeau and The Protonic Guardian: Justin Trudeau, a total of 2,015 lines of verse about Justin Trudeau — example of inspirational poetry accompanied by fourteen original drawings by the author. 'Koha Jone', an independent newspaper in Europe, has reviewed Elliott Moglica's poetry on 28 November 2015, and in paragraph two writes: "By carefully examining and summarizing the last two books, The Proton Man: Justin Trudeau and The Protonic Guardian: Justin Trudeau, I can say with conviction that Elliott Moglica has shown himself as a powerful pen of Shakespearean style. Elliott is turning 'poisonous politics' to 'positive politics' whilst fighting with his knowledge, wisdom and pen — to make the world a happier place, fair and free." These books were also reviewed by Gazeta Nacional, and Mesdheu.
Moglica has been described by several European authors and newspapers as the founder of Protonic Poetry.
Novels
In 2000, he published the novel, The Tragic End of A Love/ Fundi tragjik i një dashurie. In 2001, it was republished, Lumo Skendo, Tirana, Albania. This book was edited by Halil Katana. On 14 February 2000 Margarita Xhepa, an Albanian actress, considered Moglica a "writer with a big treasure in his heart" and "a strong pen". Whilst 'Gazeta Ushtria' (the Ministry of Defence newspaper) wrote: "The novel's author, … Moglica, educated in many schools and universities, a young man with deep feelings and a multi production heart like an electronic guitar and with a deep spirit, has written the March 1997's Albanian collapse of the State." And continued, "His book is an open accusation for Albanian politicians that brought country in that tragic collapse."
Biographies
In September 2012, Elliott published the biography Burri i madh Hasan Moglica (1854-1915) - in English, "The Great Man Hasan Moglica (1854-1915)" — an over 20 years research-work (684 pages) — a complete work with historic, academic, philosophic, scholastic and literary values.
Translations and interpretations
In 1995-96 years, Moglica translated two military books from Turkish into Albanian (412 pages) including: Headquarters’ Organization, and Advanced Military Aviation Technology.
Morever, between 1994 and 2001, Moglica has, often, translated and interpreted from Albanian to Turkish and vice versa with numerous military and civil delegations in Albania and Turkey.
In 2000 to 2002, while working as the first Editor-in-chief of 'Fjala e Tokësorit' military newspaper — Elliott has translated from Albanian into English numerous works of the last page of the newspaper. Moreover, he has translated from Albanian into English and vice versa during numerous NATO-s and Partnership For Peace exercises.
In 2002-07 years Moglica translated from Albanian into English his own novel named Fundi tragjik i një dashurie — in English, "The Tragic End of a Love".
Journalism
Elliott Moglica's work has been notable as Freelancer and in military journalism — while he worked as Editor-in-Chief for 'Fjala e Tokësorit' newspaper (of a NATO country).
In 1994-02, Elliott has established himself as a credible military journalist — whilst contributing to public information, command information, and community relations activities. Moglica published over 600 articles and editorials for various magazines and newspapers, few to be mention are: Gazeta 'Fjala e Tokësorit'; 'Ushtria' (newspaper); Gazeta Tribuna; Gazeta 'Dibra'; Gazeta 'Mokra'; Gazeta Shekulli; Revista 'Mbrojtja' (military magazine); Gazeta 'Kushtrim Brezash'; Gazeta 'Rruga e Arbërit', etc.
In 2000-02, whilst Moglica worked as the Editor-in-Chief of the military newspaper — he was a very critical pen. Continuously, without interruption, he stood up for the highest level of accountability as defined by "an obligation to fully inform the public without design to directly or indirectly benefit the military".

Political involvement
In his poetry books The Proton Man: Justin Trudeau (2014) and The Protonic Guardian: Justin Trudeau (2015) Canadian patriotism and Justin Trudeau are portrayed as the only hope for Canada. In November 2013, 'Rruga an Arbërit' newspaper reports, "Moglica who has become a patiotic activist for the protection of freedoms and human rights with his pen and his activities" (p. 10, para 1). Since 2002, Elliott Moglica has been a very strong supporter of human rights and the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. This is evident in his book Justice or Jungle: Selected Poetry in XLIV Chambers published in November 2011. Within this work Moglica published a poem about the Rt. Hon. Pierre Trudeau. It's titled "Poem-2222: I Wish Pierre Elliott Trudeau Arose Once Again" (pp. 121-22).
Since 2010, Moglica has been volunteering for Justin Trudeau and LPC — to bring back in power the Liberal Party of Canada. Moglica has been one of the biggest supporters of Justin Trudeau — during the Liberal Leadership Campaign in 2012-13 and thereafter. During the Liberal Party of Canada Leadership, Elliott signed the highest number of supporters for Justin Trudeau at the National Call Centre in Toronto. Mr. Cami, a European journalist and publicist, writes "… poet Elliott Moglica an engaged activist of the Canadian Liberals." Also, Althia Raj, a Huffington Post journalist, writes among others, "By mid-February , he had signed up more than 1,000 people" to support Justin Trudeau. Another Canadian journalist in iPolitics, writes among others "his admiration for Justin Trudeau approaches worship."
