Elizabeth Kinahan is an American representational painter. Kinahan was born in Westfield, New Jersey on January 28, 1981. She studied at the College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown, New Jersey. In 2005 she relocated to Durango, Colorado, where she has become one of the most popular painters. Paintings Kinahan exhibited in New Jersey were described as "Cubism-style". She now works in a representational style and frequently paints animals, in particular cows. In summer 2011 she was one of eight selected artists in residence at the Aspen Guard Station in the San Juan National Forest, which resulted in miniature paintings of flora that she exhibited that September. She has also exhibited portraits of women Kinahan is a member of the artists' collective Studio &, where she keeps a studio and her work is represented.
