Elisabeth Lewis-Jones

Elisabeth (Lis) Lewis-Jones was the 2008 President of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR). During her tenure as President, she oversaw the 60th-anniversary celebrations of the CIPR and acted as spokesman for the industry and the Institute in both national media and industry publications.
Biography
Lewis-Jones was the youngest ever person to be elected a Fellow of the Institute. She specialises in crisis communication and is chief executive officer of integrated PR and communications consultancy, Liquid. In February 2011 Liquid became the first UK-based public relations consultancy to establish offices in Jersey and Guernsey in the Channel Islands, through its merger with integrated advertising, branding, marketing and public relations agency One Strategic. One Strategic and Liquid Public Relations merged in February 2011, re-branding as 'Liquid' to reflect the new, wider proposition. In June 2010, she was elected to the newly formed PRCA Council. In July 2010, she was elected a freeman of The City of London Guild of Public Relations Practitioners.
She is a Governor of Bloxham School and a Trustee of the CIPR Benevolent Fund. She is the daughter of the Birmingham industrialist Charles Dean, and a descendant of Great Western Railway's William Dean and the engineer William Dean.
Lis was identified as one of the top 100 PR professionals in the UK in the 2011 edition of the PR Week Power Book.
