Daniel Toledo

Daniel Toledo (born 11 June 1991, Quito), is an Ecuadorian jazz bassist and composer. A graduate of the Berklee College of Music Valencia.
Biography
Berklee college of Music graduate degree with a master in contemporary performance. Full time professor at Universidad San Francisco in the music faculty teaching, bass and ensembles. He quickly starts to take different scenarios of his local city and becomes part of the College of Music of USFQ at an early age, where he did most of his training.
Winner of the 2010 Jazz Envoys who attended the "Jamey Aebersold Summer Jazz Workshop" and playing at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Since then he has remained active working with the United States Embassy and the State Department.
He is currently sponsored by Upton Bass and D'Addario strings. Leading his own trio with Piotr Orzechowski (Pianohooligan) and Joshua Wheatley with who he recorded his debut album Elapse in 2014.
He has worked with such artists and groups as Piotr Orzechowski, Ted Lo, John Blackwell, Perico Sambeat, Yoron Israel, Victor Mendoza, and others in South America, North America, Asia and Europe.
