Elastik Soul

Elastik Soul is a groove oriented funk and jazz group based out of St. Louis, Missouri. The group came together in 2006 and has been gaining popularity in the St. Louis area and Midwest by performing often since their formation. The band consisted of Pete Lombardo on guitar and vocals, Teddy Brookins on bass, and Grover Stewart on drums until 2007 when Chris Stevenson on keyboards was added. Their sound is described as soulful grooves with an in your face funk sound and a strong jazz influence. The group has opened for such noted artists as Jeff Coffin, Roy Wooten, Karl Denson, and Felix Pastorius, among others. Elastik Soul's influences range from John Scofield, Soulive, Victor Wooten, Joshua Redman, among others.
