El Kassasin Accident

Egypt was hit by alarm and fear when the accident Qassaseen (the afternoon of November 15, 1943) happened and when King Farouk was driving his own car and had a collision with a British military trailer when he was returning from a duck hunting trip near Ismailia.
The incident occurred in front of the gate of the engineering constructions No. 140 camp and almost killed the king who was repeating: Lord Forgiveness... Lord forgiveness. Despite the intense pain he was happy when he saw officers and soldiers of the Egyptians army stationed in the region have rushed spontaneously and surrounded the hospital to guard him. The accident was reported to the Royal Palace and the surgeon Ali Ibrahim ' Pasha ' came by plane from Cairo. A senior British surgeon offered to carry out the urgent operation but the king preferred to wait for the Egyptian surgeon despite the seriousness of his injury.
King Farouk driving very fast the Mercedes car donated by his Hitler next to Ismailia Canal and was surprised when the trailer coming from Benghazi suddenly veered left suddenly blocking the road in front of him in order to enter the camp, and the King had to swivel to avoid falling into the canal and collided with the trailer to his car front wheels flew and smashed the front door and threw the King Farouk in the middle of the road. The news quickly spread across Egypt and the masses crawled in their thousands surrounded Qassaseen hospital after the King’s, who continued to suffer serious effects.
Rumours
There had been rumours that the incident was orchestrated to get rid of King Farouk because of the aggravation of the sharp disagreement between him and the British Ambassador (Sir Miles Lampson) after the accident on February 4 and the siege of British tanks to Abdeen Palace, but the King survived.
