The Penshurst road accident occurred on 12:20 pm on 12 November 2011, near the town of Penshurst, Victoria, when a station wagon collided with a truck, killing the truck driver, Steven Elford, and the passengers of the station wagon: Sean Doran, Caroline Wright, Rebecca McKenzie, and Tim Cooper. Olivia Wright, Caroline's twin sister, initially survived the crash, but was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where she later died.
All five of the passengers of the station wagon were graduates of the Class of 2009 at Emmanuel College, Warrnambool. They were on their way to the Dunkeld Races when the accident happened.
