Ejaz Fiaz

Ejaz Fiaz (also named as Eliaz Fiaz, nicknamed "Jacksy") (b. 1973) was originally thought to be the suicide bomber who attacked the Piccadilly Line train in the 7 July 2005 London bombings; that bombing was attributed to Jamal Lindsay on July 13.

Hailing from Beeston, Fiaz is married and has two young children. A fan of Elvis Presley, his favourite song was reportedly Make the World Go Away - Some sources have suggested that he was diagnosed with a mild form of schizophrenia several months before the attack, but he remained a highly secular Muslim, often drinking beer with his neighbours.

His younger brother Naveed was arrested by British authorities, when it was realised that Ejaz could not be found.

The Independent corrected its story on 2 August 2006, stating that the police were only investigating the flat and that "we did not at the same time expressly confirm that Ejaz Fiaz was not in any way connected with the investigation."
