Einar Torfi Einarsson is a composer of classical contemporary music. He was born in Neskaupstaður in Iceland 1980. He studied classical guitar with Snorri Örn Snorrason in Reykjavik College of Music and composition with Guðmundur Hafsteinsson, Hróðmar Ingi Sigurbjörnsson and Kjartan Ólafsson. In 2007 he graduated from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam where his main teacher was Fabio Nieder. His music has been performed in Iceland, Germany and in the Netherlands. in 2007 The Nieuw Ensemble performed his piece Conditions.
