Eekkoo

Eekkoo (pronounced "echo"), born Jonathan Doyon, is a electronic artist from Montreal, Canada. In 2008, Eekkoo makes an electronic remix of the instrumental "Indigo", originally composed by Nicolas Maranda for the serial drama television series Minuit, le soir, which is now officially released under Benzie Box and the notable record label from Quebec, Zone3 Musique.
Biography
Eekkoo has been teaching audio conception and synthesis for the last 5 years at Musitechnic. He has started his career by producing hip hop for some rap artists than became deeply involved in the electronic music scene. As a composer and a sound designer, Jonathan Doyon, has been participate to a series of short films called « Les Minutes Urbania » wich aired on the Canadian French language cable television specialty channel called ARTV. In 2008, with his long-time friend Karim Blondy, Eekkoo have also created a new electronic Middle East-oriented world beat music genre which aired on the international radio service Radio Canada International. At the end of 2008, Eekkoo found his own record label "Circle Line Records" to speed up his releases. January 2009, a first single "Circle Line" is published on iTunes.
