EdgeERP is an open source accounting system written in PHP. EdgeERP was forked from WebERP by a two ex-WebERP consultants/contributors who were removed as webERP developers because they used their status as developers for commercial advantage without giving code they developed commercially back to webERP. Accordingly, they were dissatisifed with WebERP's development model and progress. A demo of release candidate EdgeERP 3.0 build 75 was announced in July 2008, the result of merging contributions from WebERP customizations and forks (e.g., Azeco).
The only code released to date remains the same as webERP code as of webERP 3.071.
