EasyRide is a ride sourcing mobile application operated by a Mongolian and Romanian joint tech start-up company Asia Mobile Technologies LLC. The application functions as an open platform that connects passengers who need a ride with drivers who have a car via smartphone with mobile data. It was publicly released on Appstore and GooglePlay on 15 November 2015.
History

Establishment
Asia Mobile Technologies LLC was established by young Mongolians from different industries. Amar Baatartsogt, chief executive, “We realized that the Mongolian market was lacking a platform that connects passengers with drivers. Hence, we decided to invest our time in building this venture.” said in an interview by GoGoNews.
Reception
EasyRide was well received by public with people testing the app and seeing real drivers accept their requests.
Its popularity is explained by high demand in taxi service and safety concerns over private cars in the streets of Ulaanbaatar.
Regulatory Issues
Like many other international ride sourcing services across the globe EasyRide faces regulatory hurdles. Talks were initiated with the city hall in order to create legal environment for ride sourcing platforms.
