Yardly (previously known as SnowTapp) is an Edmonton-based startup that connects users with lawn care and snow removal professionals in their area via a mobile app. Yardly currently operates in Edmonton, Saint Albert, Sherwood Park, and Spruce Grove, AB, Canada, with plans to expand service to other Western Canadian cities in winter 2016. The company enables users to order, pay for, and verify receipt of on demand snow removal and lawn mowing services through a mobile app, as well as offering the option for users to order services via telephone and email. Operations Yardly launched its on demand snow removal service under the name Snowtapp in winter of 2015. It re-branded to Yardly in April 2016, offering full year on demand yard maintenance services, including snow removal and lawn mowing, for customers in the Greater Edmonton Area. Applications Yardly offers two mobile applications. The consumer app is publicly available while the provider app is available only to Yardly-approved service partners. Consumer Applications The consumer app allows users to order, pay for, and verify receipt of lawn mowing and snow removal services from an iOS or Android device. Provider Applications The provider app allows Yardly-vetted lawn care and snow removal professionals to accept and manage jobs from their iOS or Android device. The app is only available to service partners that have successfully completed Yardly's application process. Media Yardly has been covered by numerous Edmonton-based media outlets, including CBC Edmonton, Global Edmonton, and CTV Edmonton.
