Dynamo Camp

Dynamo Camp is the first summer camp in Italy to be structured specifically for children with serious or chronic illnesses who are currently in therapy or in post-hospitalization convalescence. The Camp is free of charge for children between the ages of 7 and 16 who live in Italy or are treated in Italian hospitals. The camp is member of the Hole in the Wall Camps Association, founded by philanthropist Paul Newman. In accordance with the Association's guidelines and quality standards, Dynamo Camp opened in summer 2007, located near Pistoia, within a WWF reserve.
Dynamo Camp is structured as a non profit association (ONLUS) according to Italian law, and it is supported by a number of private donors with the strategic help of Fondazione Dynamo, a Milan based institution that helps social projects to develop and achieve economic sustainability according to the model of venture philanthropy.
It is a member of the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps.
