Duncan Hames (born 16 June 1977) is the Liberal Democrat candidate for the new UK Parliamentary Constituency of Chippenham. He has been councillor for the Holt ward on West Wiltshire District Council since 2003.
The new Chippenham constituency is made from parts of the old Devizes, North Wiltshire and South West Wiltshire Constituencies. It has a notional majority for the Lib Dems, with the result giving Duncan Hames a provisional majority of 1260.
The Liberal Democrats have a strong standing in the Chippenham area, in Chippenham itself the party has all County Councillors, 15 out of 25 District Councillors and leads the town council.
