DragonHearth

Dragonhearth, is a podcast produced by and featuring the voice talents of husband and wife fantasy authors Tracy and Laura Hickman. It first debuted in December 2005 with installments appearing monthly.
"From the worlds between the pages of your favorite book ... to adventures teetering on the edge of the dice..." the podcast explores the 'Sea of Possibilities' in speculative fiction and the creative arts. It often includes interviews with artists, actors and writers, practical advice on the creative process and publishing as well as humorous segments based on the Hickman's lives.
In the summer of 2006, Dragonhearth also included a series of 'special edition' podcasts which were produced 'on the road' during the Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman book tour for their Dragonlance book, 'Dragons of the Dwarven Depths.' These podcasts often featured question and answer sessions at their appearances. Tracy Hickman then produced the podcast after the appearance each night and released it to the internet within twelve hours.
In addition to Tracy and Laura Hickman, the podcast segments are introduced by the voice talent of Samantha Robson.
The podcast segments cover a variety of subjects regarding the creation, writing and publication of speculative fiction as well as hobby games and pop culture. These included the preflight and post flight interviews with Richard Garriott for his private space flight to the International Space Station.
Following the death of Tracy Hickman's brother, Gerry Hickman, the podcast has been on hiatus. A revised program is being announced for 2012.
The podcast was hosted by Farpoint Media but now is hosted through its own DragonHearth Productions website.
