Biography
Dr Sooranadu Rajasekharan is an eminent political leader and social activist . The most active years of his life were dedicated to the Indian National Congress and social causes. Currently working as the Vice President of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee and for the last 8 years serving as the Managing Editor of “Veekshanam” Daily, the mouthpiece of Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee. vice versa.
Early life
He was born as the forth son to Sri P.N Raghavan Pillai and Smt Bhargavi Amma, from Sooranadu village in Kollam district of Kerala State in India. His primary education was at Malumel Govt. Lower Primary School,Mynagappally SKV Upper Primary School, and Thazhava Govt.High School. He secured graduation in Economics (BA) from Sasthamcotta Devaswom Board College and post graduation in Malayalam (MA)from Changanasseri St.Berchmans College. He was awarded with Doctorate (PhD) from Kozhikode University for his work on Sri Sooranadu Kunjanpillai's contributions to Malayalam literature.His political career dates back to his strong presence at his college campuses where he was elected as the chairman of the college unions. He has also worked as an office bearer of the state committees of the Kerala Students Union and Indian Youth Congress.
