Tadawi Medical-Health & Beauty Group was founded in 1995 by Dr.Nawal Al-Alem. Health & Beauty Group is a well established company which offers a wide range of health-related products, including cosmetics, organic and diet foods, and services, including treatment, maintenance, and preventive measures for people of all ages. The company consists of several sub sections, the Ideal Diet, the Health & Beauty Pharmacy, Health Line, and the clinic. The clinic consists of Dr.Nawal Al-Alem, the founder's Dermatology clinic, along with several other doctors who work under Health & Beauty Group of other specialities.
In 2008 Dr.Nawal was awarded the 2008 Qatar Businesswomen Award Qatar Businesswomen Award, for her efforts and rapid development in the company. The award was a kickstart for further development and the opening of the company at a new location, in a large building built by herself to accommodate the whole company in one location.
The company started out as Dr.Alem's private practice in which she had a small number of staff and practice her speciality as a dermatologist. Soon there were developments and Dr.Alem saw potential for a pharmacy to accommodate her patient's medical needs. The pharmacy soon became the provider of several internationally known products(such as Uriage,) that were delivered to other pharmacies.
Dr.Alem then developed a vision, based on her background in Nutrition, to provide to Qatar and coming generations the best health through food. She always said, "your skin is reflected through what you eat". This vision came to life with the opening of Ideal Diet, where a wide range of Macrobiotic products & daily/weekly/monthly healthy food plans were made available.
