Douglas "Doug" Adamson is best known for his work in American Football in Scotland. He is the President of the Scottish Gridiron Association but most of his efforts are in his capacity of General Manager of the Edinburgh Wolves. Doug's tireless work led to the Wolves winning the BAFL award for gameday management. All of this work is on a volunteer / spare time / unpaid basis as Adamson has a full time "day job" in Edinburgh, Scotland. In 2007 Adamson was elected Chair of the Edinburgh Sports Forum, now known as ClubSport Edinburgh an organisation representing Sports Clubs in Edinburgh. He has subsequently been appointed a director of Edinburgh Leisure. In addition to this work in American Football, Adamson is a produced comedy writer with his co-written sketch "Hand Dryer" being broadcast on BBC1.
