Dose of Adolescence, also known as 'D of A' has graced southern California's music scene since 2001. Started by Timmy brown, Stephen Madigan and Jimmy Brown and John Gelbach. However, in 2006, a tragic accident took the life of original guitarist Stephen Madigan and the future of the band seemed uncertain. Gelbach who was also in the accident would soon part ways with the band. Taking time to put the pieces back together, D of A bounced back strong in 2008 with Austin Sands(guitar) and Crisco (Drums) joining the band. D of A would soon set sail and follow the Vans Warped Tour, where they would sell over 7,000 copies of their latest EP titled "Getting Back To the Future" which featured Madigan on guitar and back up vocals. The band describes their music as 'heart-felt truthful energetic rock and roll'. D of A recently finished recording with Rich Zahniser (RichE) formally of the Hippos. The band is currently one of ten finalist in the Airwalk Unsigned Hero Contest.
