Donna Maria Bertaccini Molesworth is an Italian-Jewish American journalist, director, and producer. She is known for her contributions to a variety of broadcast media outlets and publications such as ABC, BBC, ITV, NBC, MTV, National Geographic, PBS, Discovery Channel, CNN, The History Channel, and other foreign outlets. She has interviewed and covered world leaders such as Margaret Thatcher and several American presidents, senators, governors, and Prime Ministers, including Princess Diana's visit to New York City in 1989, and Queen Elizabeth's visit to Barbados in 1989 for both film and television. This includes Desaparecidos, a film about the forced disappearances of Chilean activists, and segments on ITV's Tonight, about , and privacy laws. She has produced and directed segments of television episodes in Autopsy: The Last Hours of..., a television show about tragic and controversial deaths of celebrities, and a variety of other television series. She has an extensive career as a sound director. Bertaccini also holds membership to several professional guilds, such as BAFTA, ATAS, SAG, NABET and the New York Press Club. They have three children, Willem, Pietro, and Soleil. Her father, Paul Amerigo Francis Bertaccini was a New York based financial advisor and World War II veteran. Her mother, Barbara Ann Levy Bertaccini, was a writer and the chairperson of the English department at the Freeport Senior High School. She holds dual Italian U.S. citizenship.
