Donna Barr Tabor

Donna Barr Tabor (April 25, 1958 - May 19, 2016) was an early female paratrooper with the United States Army and command historian for the XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg.
Personal life
Donna Barr was born at Fort Benning, Georgia, while her father was attending Officer Candidate School. Her father's military career resulted in her growing up on military bases and in Herzogenaurach, Germany.
Career
Donna Barr joined the Army in 1979. She served with the 35th Signal Brigade. She served as the Command Historian for 18th Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg since 1997.<ref name="Observer"/>
Death
Donna Barr Tabor died in Fayetteville, North Carolina on May 19, 2016, aged 58, from undisclosed causes. She was survived by her husband of 35 years, Edward Tabor, and their three children, Amanda, Joshua and Jacob.<ref name="Observer"/>
