Niall Hetherington

Niall Hetherington (born 8 January, 2002) is the goaltender studied in the book, Next to the Ice: Exploring the Culture and Community of Hockey in Canada (Mosaic Press, 2016) and the model goaltender used for the Conseil Scolaire Catholique Providence Camp Pro Hockey à Québec advertisements. Hetherington is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender for the Sarnia Sting AAA in the Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario. Known for his Lundqvist butterfly style of goaltending, Hetherington played two seasons with the Chatham-Kent Cyclones before being signed to the Lambton Junior Sting in 2016.
